Study on MSA implementation problems: A case in manufacturing and assembling process of Iran Heavy Diesel Co, (DESA)

The Measurement System Analysis (MSA) is known as an important quality tool in quality management system quality management standard in industries ISO/TS2, 16949:2002; So that it is a part of requirement in item 1-6-7(the general requirement for qualification of experiment laboratories and ISO/IEC3, 17025 of auto manufacturing). In this article the authors try to both familiarize readers with the fundamentals of MSA, and generally describe the research. In this research, by implementing design experimentally in Desa, while study of development problem of this research, based on its present structures and by considering each structure as a symptom and in the frame of on hypothesis and then experiment of these hypothesis, we proceeded for achieving the aim of research i.e. symptom(s) identification in the trend of suitable implementation of Desa. Concerning the finding of research, we concluded that the only problem for developing MSA in Desa is the disability of measurement tools, in acceptable boundary, for proper implementation of MSA.
