An analytical Model for Oprationalizing Lean Production System : Leather and Shoe Industry of Tehran Province

Lean production is a new philosophy and attitude on production which its emerging and provenance is Japan. This approach created by Toyoda and Taiji Ohnu, fostered in Europe and United States and admired by many factories. This method tries to minimize waste and best productivity of facilities, human resources and capital This research identified effective indexes in oprationalizing lean production, and by using AHP, prioritized identified indexes. Then, for converting different measures with diverse dimensions and converts different relative importance to one single amount with no dimension, dimensional analytical model was used. The figure resulted from dimensional analytical model was compared to lean production global standard, and finally, after diagnosis of he gap between internal and external organizations, and offered a suitable model for minimizing the present and desired gap.
