The effect of sodium chloride on ontogeny flower and yield rate of two cultivar of Arachis hypogaea L. (NC2, Yugoslavian)

Seeds of NC2 and Yugoslavian Cuitivars of Arachis hypogaea L. were cultivated in field conditions and Sodium chloride concentration (0, 20.5-50) mM, Another experiment, seeds of cuitivars were cultivated in sand bed. Tweny days seeding were cultivated in modified (0.5 degree) Hoagland solution with 0,20.5-50mM salt concentration. During the reproductive growth morphological and anatomical characteristics were observed. Resulted are as followes:Anatomical studies of reproductive meristem in Yugoslavian showed that acceleration in Carpelal primordium growth is more than stamenal primordium growth, in 20.5 and 30.5 salt concentration. Delay in formation of petal and carpelal primordium and acceleration in formation of stamenal primordium were seen. In NC2 acceleration in the formation of petal primordium was seen in 40.5mM, in other samples significant change in the sequence of appearance of flower segments were not seen. In Yngoslavian the number of pods and yield rates were increased in 20.5mM and were decreased up to 40.5mM but were increased relatively in 45.5mM which is the result of the plant returning to normal condition. In both cultivar with increasing salt concentration were decreased 1000 grain weight.
