Glad Tidings and Warnings in the Quran and the Old Testament with a Look at the Book of Isaiah

نظربه اهميت بشارات و انذارات در سيره‌انبياي كه يكي از راهكارهاي عمده آنها براي هدايت و ممانعت از گمراهي انسانها بوده‌است، در اين مقاله سعي شده تا با بررسي موارد برجسته بشارات و انذارات در قرآن كريم و مقايسه آن با نمونه‌هاي مطرح‌شده در عهدقديم، به‌ويژه كتاب اشعيا كه جايگاهي ويژه دراين مجموعه‌دارد، درعين طرح نكات اشتراك و افتراق به زمينه هاي مشترك موجود در اين روش انبياي پرداخته شود. با توجه به شرايط متفاوت فرهنگي، اجتماعي و سياسي عصر حاضر و نياز به ترويج معنويت و مباحث اخلاقي و ديني، مسلماً طرح مجدد و بازنگري اين گونه روشهاي برآمده از سنت ديني، مي‌تواند به نحوي كارآمد در حيطه‌هاي گوناگون تربيتي و روانشناختي مفيد واقع شود.

Considering the importance of glad tidings and warnings as a main strategy the prophets employed to guide their people towards the right path and prevent them from deviation, an attempt has been made in this paper to investigate the outstanding cases of glad tidings and warnings in the holy Quran and to compare them with the cases mentioned in the Old Testament, especially in the Isaiah book which is a highly important part of this collection. Besides discussing differences and similarities, the common grounds of this strategy are pointed out. Regarding the different cultural, social and political conditions of the present time and due to the need for promotion of spirituality and moral and religious issues, reintroduction of such methods taken from religious traditions can definitely be useful in various areas of education and psychology.
