Plans for Increasing the Access of Entrepreneurs to the Research and Development Findings in Certain European Countries

The importance of entrepreneurship and Short and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) in improving economic indices and employment level is vastly known and acknowledged. This has made advanced European countries concentrate on developing several plans and programs to make the results of Research and Development (R&D) departments more accessible to entrepreneurs. Applying these R&D findings can create new business occasions which, in turn, can guarantee the continuous improvement of economic standards. In this paper a number of such plans and programs have been investigated and introduced.
