Problems and barriers to waiting (for the savior)

اين مقاله با هدف بازشناسي برخي از موانع و آفات انتظار به روش تحليلي _ توصيفي و با استفاده از منابع كتاب‌خانه‌اي نوشته شده است. موانعي كه اين مقاله به آن‌ها پرداخته عبارتند از: استبعاد ذهني ظهور، خو گرفتن به شرايط موجود، تهديد منافع، شتاب‌زدگي، عافيت‌طلبي، نگرش منفي به انتظار، عدم رشد فكري و عدم معرفت به امام زمان?. آفات در كمين امر انتظار كه در اين مقاله ذكر شده، شامل منجي‌گرايي، ملاقات‌گرايي، مدعي‌پروري، غلو در محبت و باطن‌گرايي است. نتايج مطالعات و بررسي‌ها در مورد علل و ريشه‌هاي موانع و آفات، حاكي از آن است كه عوامل بروز موانع و آفات در برخي موارد مربوط به منشا (روايات مطرح كننده تفكر انتظار مهدي موعود) و گاه در نگرش و عملكرد متوليان امور ديني و فرهنگي و گاه در سو ‌برداشت نظري و سو ‌عملكرد پيروان اين اعتقاد عظيم و تحول‌آفرين است. در پايان به منظور پالايش انديشه رايج در جامعه، پيشنهاداتي ارايه شده است.
