Psychological Assessment of Sa’aliks’ Poetry Based on Adler’s Theory

صعاليك گروهي بودند كه از دل جامعه ي جاهلي سربرآوردند و رو در روي آن قرار گرفتند. در اين راستا، آنان دست به تمرد زدند و بر سنت ها و هنجا رهاي اجتماعي، فرهنگي و ادبي شوريدند. بي شك هدف قرار دادن هنجارهاي اجتماعي و پيوستن شمار قابل توجهي از اعضاي جامعه ي جاهلي عرب به جريان صعاليك، حكايت از وجود يك اشكال اساسي در نظام اجتماعي موجود داشته است. بررسي اوضاع و شرايط سياسي، اجتماعي و فرهنگي در اين دوره، تصويري از يك ساختار معيوب و ناسالم در نظام قدرت را نشان مي دهد. در اين فضا، قدرت در انحصار طبقه اي خاص است و نهادهاي فرهنگي داراي كاركردي ايديولوژيك اند تا اين وضعيت در جهت منافع عنصر مسلط استمرار يابد. از نقطه نظر مكتب روانشناسي آدلر، در اين شرايط، ساختار بيمار قدرت، تحقير را تكثير كرده و منجر به ايجاد عقده ي حقارت مي گردد. در پي ايجاد اين احساس كهتري، ميل به قدرت و مهتري شديدا احساس مي شود و سپس انواع مختلفي از واكنش ها و مكانيسم‌هاي جبراني، متاثر از اين گره رواني، بروز پيدا مي كند. از آنجا كه به گواهي تاريخ، صعاليك نيز داراي چنين وضعيتي بودند، كوشش مي شود تا بازتاب واكنش ها و شيوه هاي جبراني، در اشعار شان نشان داده شود و بر اساس الگوي روانشناسي آدلر مورد تحليل و بررسي قرار گيرد. كليدواژه ها: صعاليك، عصر جاهلي، آدلر، احساس حقارت، واكنش وجبران

Sa’aliks were a group or sect of J?hilyya society who emerged in the Age of Ignorance of Arab history and defied it. They rebelled against the social, cultural and literary traditions of their time. The fact that they targeted the social norms, and that a considerable number of the society members joined the Sa’alikʹs movement, indicates a fundamental shortcoming in the relevant social order. An examination of the political, social and cultural conditions of the relevant time reveals a defective and unsound power structure. Power was monopolized by a particular class and the cultural institutions served for a certain ideology in order to preserve the status quo in favor of the current hegemony. From the point of view of Adlerʹs psychological theory, the ailing power structure under such conditions promotes humiliation in people and consequently brings about the inferiority complex. Following the inferiority feelings, comes about a thirst for power and superiority, which is manifested in various sorts of reaction formations and compensatory mechanisms. According to historical studies, Sa’aliks also exhibited similar features. Thus, the present study aims, first to show the reaction formations and compensatory means reflected in their poems, and then to analyze them according to Adler’s theories.
