بررسي ميزان رعايت معيارهاي ارزيابي رابط كاربر در صفحات وب فارسي كتابخانه‌هاي ديجيتالي خودساخته و خريداري شده در ايران

Investigating the Level of Observing the Evaluation Criteria for User Interface in Farsi Web Pages of Iranian Self-made and Purchased Digital Libraries

هدف: در حوزه كتابخانه‌هاي رقومي تعامل بين كاربر و سيستم از جمله مباحث اساسي در زمينه استفاده از اين‌گونه نرم‌افزارها به شمار مي‌رود. بنابراين يافتن نرم‌افزار مناسب در اين زمينه داراي اهميت فراواني است. هدف پژوهش حاضر ارزيابي و تحليل معيارهاي مربوط به رابط كاربر در صفحات وب فارسي كتابخانه‌هاي رقومي خودساخته و خريداري شده در ايران است. روش: پژوهش حاضر از نوع كاربردي است. روش انجام پژوهش از نوع تحقيقات ارزيابانه است كه از يك سياهه وارسي متشكل از 10 معيار اصلي و 114 مولفه فرعي براي ارزيابي و تحليل ابعاد پژوهش استفاده شده است. علاوه‌بر اين در مراحل مختلف پژوهش و براي تهيه سياهه وارسي از روش دلفي استفاده شد و در موارد لازم با توليدكنندگان نرم‌افزارها نيز مصاحبه شد. يافته‌ها: يافته‌ها نشان داد كه از جمع كل امتيازات مربوط به معيارهاي ده‌گانه مورد بررسي، كتابخانه‌هاي رقومي خودساخته توانستند در هفت معيار تصحيح خطا، كنترل كاربر، راهبري، راهنمايي، جست‌وجو و سادگي امتياز بالايي را كسب كنند. در صورتي كه كتابخانه‌هاي رقومي خريداري شده تنها در سه معيار زبان رابط كاربر، نمايش اطلاعات و انسجام در وضعيت بهتري قرار دارند. هر چند به‌لحاظ مجموع ميانگين امتيازات كسب شده اختلاف زيادي بين اين دو دسته مشاهده نشد. اصالت/ارزش: اين پژوهش ضمن تهيه يك سياهه وارسي در زمينه ارزيابي رابط كاربر كتابخانه‌هاي رقومي بر‌اساس پيشينه‌هاي موجود و نظر متخصصان، اين امكان را نيز فراهم آورده است تا استفاده‌كنند‌گان از اين كتابخانه‌ها و نرم‌افزارهاي مشابه بتوانند در انتخاب خود تصميمات بهتري را اتخاذ كنند. همچنين به توليدكنندگان كتابخانه‌هاي رقومي مورد مطالعه و ساير نرم‌افزارهاي مشابه اين امكان را مي‌دهد تا ضمن بر طرف كردن نقاط ضعف و تقويت نقاط قوت با معيارها و مولفه‌هاي موجود در اين زمينه و اهميت هر يك از آن‌ها بهتر آشنا شده و در توليدات آتي خود از آن‌ها بهره گيرند.

Purpose: Concerning digital libraries, interaction between user and system is among major issues for using library software. Therefore, finding appropriate software for this purpose is of high importance. This study aims to evaluate and analyze the criteria related to user interface in Farsi web pages of self-made and purchased digital libraries in Iran. Methodology: This is an applied and evaluative study. It uses a checklist which consisted of 10 major criteria and 114 subsidiary components. Additionally, Delphi technique was employed at different stages of the study in preparation of the checklist. When necessary, interview with software producers was carried out, too. Findings: The results indicated that, out of total scores related to the ten criteria used for the study, self-made digital libraries got a high score in seven criteria including error correction, controlling the user, guidance, help, search, and simplicity. On the other hand, the purchased digital libraries gained better scores only in three criteria including language of user interface, information display, and consistency. Concerning total sum of mean gained scores, no much difference was observed between these two categories. Originality/Value: In addition to preparation of a checklist for evaluation of user interface in digital libraries based upon existing literature and expertsʹ opinion, this study has offered the opportunity for users of these libraries and similar software to make better decisions when choosing. Also, it facilitates for producers of studied digital libraries and similar software to decrease the weaknesses and reinforce the strengths. Besides, it makes them familiar with criteria and components existing in this field as well as their importance to utilize them in their future products.
