Comparison and relationship between ambiguity tolerance rate & sensory pro¬cessing styles in women with & without cardio diseases

In case sensory processing is unable to interpret stimulates or predict their severity or time, a person faces uncertainty which is called ambiguity. There are evidences that ambiguity is a powerful stressor. The object of this research is to find the rela¬tionship among ambiguity tolerance rate, sensory information processing style and cardio diseases. The sample of this study is 68 women aged 22- 59 as the control group including 34 women who are suffering from cardio disease and 34 women who are not affected by cardio disease and have academic educa¬tion. The results showed there is significant differ¬ence in ambiguity tolerance between two studied groups and there is relationship between ambiguity intolerance and sensory processing. So The group who are suffering from heart disease has sensory seeking style lower and ambiguity tolerance thresh¬old.
