Determinants of Greenhouse Growersʹ Satisfaction from Farmers Field School

The Agricultural Jihad Ministry in Iran has presented training programs aiming at increasing awareness, knowledge and career skills in rural adult producers. Appling evaluation of educational programs enables designers and extension agents to select and apply educational media and programs. This Research aimed at explaining factors affecting volunteer green house growersʹ satisfaction from IPM farmers field school extension training, in Savojbolagh county, Alborz Province during 2009-2010. It was conducted as descriptive-correlational research and questionnaire was our data gathering instrument. Research population consisted of 40 green house growers who voluntarily participated in IPM training programs. Validity of the instrument was approved by a group of agricultural extension specialists and reliability also was confirmed by Alpha Cronbach test (a= 0.75). Findings indicated that variables such as duration of the educational program, evaluation of the program and motivation factors to participate in this program were significantly and positively correlated with volunteer green house growers ʹ satisfaction of IPM farmers field school extension training.
