Exploration of internal, Environmental and Resultant Organizational Entrepreneurship Barriers Evidence: Ports and Sailing Bureau of Mazandaran Province, Nowshahr port

Abstract The purpose of this article is to identify environmental barriers and exploration of effective factors on organizational entrepreneurship in Nowshahr port. Environmental barriers include lack of competition, lack of policy making authority and mission determination by managers, diversity of interest groups and lack of accountability to public, lack of mechanistic training centers (port-marine) and lack of statute and agreement between sailing companies for appeal of foreign ships for exchange absorption and entrepreneurship, and internal barriers like executive unsuitable decisions in assignment and applying subordinate managers, not enough delegation, complexity and polarity of goals, and lack of competition of secondary companies of unloading and loading goods, and resultant barriers like social cultural, traditional definition of successfulness, possibility of running without efficiency, and repetitive management changes in short periods. Since the number of population was limited sampling was not used and all population members were used for filling out the questionnaire. The kind of research was applied and the method was descriptive. The methods of information gathering were secondary and field and the tools were interview and questionnaire. Statistical tests for hypothesizes confirmation was ratio test, and for ranking the questions was Friedman test using SPSS software. The results showed that 10 of 14 hypothesizes were confirmed, and at the end of research some recommendation, regarding the application of mentioned results, and following similar researches, were offered.
