A great deal of scholarly works have been written on the role of British colonialism in contemporary Iran from various perspectives among which one can cite the British influence in Iranian Market, dominance over the natural resources of the country. England was also responsible for the harmful sects and interference in the political affairs of the country such as the toppling down of Iranian governments England was also in charge of instigating the racial minorities to revolt in various regions of the country. The present study deals with two Kurdish revolts during the reign of Naser. Aldin Shah, Reza Shah and Ahmad Shah and the role of England in these uprisings. The reason for choosing these two uprisings is that the policy of England and its imperialism in both of them is evident. Although British policies in each of these uprisings seem to be different, its goals are similar. This study attempts to deal with this policy in detail. These revolts are among the kurds in Azarbayejan, and the revolt of Ismael Agha Samitghu the leader of the Kurdish tribe occurring at the end of the Qajar dynasty and continued to Reza Shahʹs time. Key terms: Kurdish revolt, Sheikh Obeido-llah, Ismael Agha Samitghu, Contemporary Iran, Englan
