The validity of the Selanikiʹs reports on the Ottoman and Safavid relations (A.H. 971-1008)

Selanikiʹs history is among the main Ottoman history texts which -a written by Mustafa Afandi Selaniki at the end of the tenth deerd This work encompasses the events which occurred in 37 ye (A.H.971-1008). During these 37 years the relations between, nan rc the Ottomans were full of protracted wars and streeejw and sʹn-c periods of peace. The Selanikiʹs history, in addition to its imporian; for the history of the Ottomans and the Europeans is also import aw n the Safavids. The presence of Selaniki :n attacking Imn. h appointment as a host of Hiedar Mirza. and the special host of kh Khan and Ahmad Gillani and his presence in the Ottoman l ing hon? in the feasts for Iranian Ilchis and his knowledge of the negotiations the delegates of the two countries are important factors.
