Commandersʹ and Managersʹ Role in the Confidentiality Prevention

Nowadays, the threats and vulnerabilities and fear of them are the common distresses in most of the organizations. Some thought that through intensive measures and sentences one can avoid the spread of crimes and threats, but the global statistics rejects it. Nevertheless, the attention was paid to prevention, as it is easier and less expensive than correction or punishment. We all have heard this proverb; "prevention is easier than treatment" which is applied in the medicine but this subject is a bout the health and medical issues and covers the field of threats and vulnerabilities. One of the important roles of the commanders and managers is to provide the necessary situations needed for protecting and guarding the confidentiality subjects (like, documents, and proofs, places and installations, weapons and ammunition and equipments and...) and to make sure of preserving and protecting the above mentioned subjects through enforcing some measures like visit and investigation, control and implementing the security rules and regulations. Act for prevention in the counter intelligence organizations is more economical and thoughtful than a delayed reaction to the threats. Meanwhile, the commanders in the armed forces because of their inherent power and commandership and the job of supervision and also personal abilities and the power of influence can be the origin of the worthy measures in the prevention and confidentiality affairs. After investigating the power and overall duties of the commanders, this article pays attention to those abilities effecting the confidentiality prevention to enlighten the different roles of the commanders and managers in the confidentiality prevention.
