The news graphic, is a kind of infographic, adhering to journalistic tenets does its work in visual reporting of a news. The difference between these two is in content and the difference between news and information and the speed of time. News graphic has the potential to present a huge amount of information regards a news in a limited space with so much visual attractiveness, the possibility of simple and swift understanding, and with so much ability to make it believable. In spite of prevalent usage of this kind of graphic in the world media in Iran it is not used so much. This article in order to study the problems and influential factors in using news graphic by Iranian media, especially online media, applying descriptive methods (survey and interview) has found 5 deterrent factor in the way of using this kind of graphic in Iran that are: the nearly so much expense of producing news graphic, the low acquaintance of media managers in this regard, limited dominance and experience of Iranian graphic designers in the domain of news graphic, technical and communicative limitations(specially a limited broadband) for readers access to news graphic in online media and the limitation regarding producing and protecting Farsi graphic sofitware(because of the lack of a professional team for producing these software).
