This article addresses the role of passive defense in the security of the country. Also, it tries to establish the relationship between the two variables of passive defense and security by collecting library information and field survey, and to put the results of the research to test through using the Likert scale statistics, and two-variable student t-statistics.
From the results gained by asking questions from the scholars and experts, it follows that the factors and components of passive defense and those of the Countryʹs security have been explored, and the effects of the variables such as the fortification and strengthening, positioning, camouflage, deception, warning systems, and mobility on the countryʹs security were proved. However, the effects of the variables like covering, division, and dispersion were not meaningful. Finally, the importance of the components of passive defense and security were explained and suggestions, as were required, were offered.
