Determinating the Lethal Concentrations (LC50/96h) of Herbicide Roundup (Glyphosate) on Rutilus frisi kutum, Rutilus rutilus caspicus and Cyprinus carpio

Caspian Sea is valuable habits for fish species such as Rutilus frisi kutum Rutilus rutilus caspicus and Cyprinus carpio that their stocks have been decreased in recent years. One of the fundamental and effective factor in destruction of aquatic communities in long - term is the over increasing industrial effluents contain various compounds of heavy metals and agricultural toxins that have intered in to aquatic systems, as a result improvement of technology and industry. Herbicide Roundup that use large quantity in agriculture fields. This were studied the short - term acute toxicity of this Herbicide on Rutilus frisi kutum, Rutilus rutilus caspicus and Cyprinus carpio fingerlings (1- 3g). In this research, aim to determine the 50% lethal concentration (LC50) in 96 hours. These experiments carried out in 4 days, and controlled of the effective water physico - chemical factors that having ranges pH=6.7-8 ,DH=205 mg/l (CaCOs), DO=80% and Temp=25 ± 10C. On the base of abtained results the LC50 value of Roundup in 96 hours were 5189 ,7728 and 7716mg/l on Rutilus frisi kutum, Rutilus rutilus caspicus and Cyprinus carpio respectively, and also MAC(Maximum allowable concentration) value of this toxin were determined 518.9 ,772.8 and 771.6 mg/l for Rutilus frisi kutum , Rutilus rutilus caspicus and Cyprinus carpio.
