Verifying Preachersʹ Role in the Constitutional Movement of Iran

Preachers and pulpit members as social groups within clerics institution, along with their comprehensive characteristics have always played a significant role in the leadership and promotion of anti-des- potic events of the Constitutional Movement in Iran using pulpit as a mass media that makes it possible for them to have a close contact with masses of people, enabling them to step ahead of other social leaders to shape and conduct public opinion in contrast with the existing regime. This article aims at verifying Clerics and Preachers role in Iranʹs Constitutional Movement and analyzing the reasons for their success in mobilizing and leading peopleʹs protests against despotic regimes.
