To Assess the Impact of Extension and Education Classes of Plant Clinics on Sustainable Urban Landscape in Tehran Municipality (Case of Study of 17th and 18th Regions)

Urban population is growing rapidly and also its requirements are growing fast. This problem needs further attention on sustainability urban landscape. Citizenʹs participation and gradual cultural change considered among the best methods for developing and conserving the urban landscape. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of extension and education classes of plant clinics on sustainable urban landscape in Tehran Municipality. The research type was applied and descriptive, casual / correlative methods were used. The population of study was 280 persons who attended the educational classes of plant clinics in 17th and 18th regions of Tehran Municipality. The data was collected by questionnaire and was analyzed by using SPSS win software. The results of study showed that there was meaningful relationship between sustainability of urban landscape as dependent variable and awareness about benefit of landscape, attending educational classes, educational level, interest about plants and flower and attitude about flower and plant as independent variables. The results of regression analysis indicated that attitude about plants and flower determined 19% of sustainability of urban landscape.
