Climate Identification and effective rainfall of Gorgon

Rainfall is a more importance of climati parameter, so that almost affects all of lives in the world and interfere in different human activates industry and etc. In this research Rainfall amount, effective rainfall and determination of climate in Gorgan have been taken into account in various ways by using the forty-year statistics of synoptic station of Hashem Abad, Gorgan. Average amount, styansdard deviation, range of changes, change coefication, and seasonal distribution of rainfall both monthly and yearly have been investigated (with ninety percent of certainty). Periods of rainfall return in different methods has been estimated. In the next stages, the amount of effective rainfall has been counted by the use of four methods. According to the investigation, the most estimation was related to "usda" method and the least estimation referred to certain rainfall method. Finally, certain rainfall method was accepted as the best method. At the last stage of the study, the determination of Gorgan Climate was investigated through six methods. The results showed that the climate of Gorgan was of Humid Temperate (Moderate) with hot and humid summer and slightly cold winter.
