REPORTING OF A RARE CASE OF ADENOID CYSTIC CARCINOMA OF BARTHOLINE GLAND

Adenoid cystic carcinoma is one of the rare neoplasm of Bartholine gland. Usually the diagnosis of Bartholine neoplasm is delayed because of deep location of the tumor and its false diagnosis as bartholine abscess. So if the patient is older than 40 years old and the mass is suspicious or if the mass which was supposed as benign in nature dosent response to conservative therapy, the biopsy or excision of the tummor must be done. One of the rarest case which is presented here, is the 50 - years old women who presented with a mass for 5-6 years at vulva. This mass abruptly enlarged and the only symptom was pressure filling in prinea. the paraclinical findings was only elevated ESR and mild anemia . The mass was excised and pathologic report was adenoid cystic carcinoma of Bartholine gland .
