Sacred scriptures usually begin with one type of such phrasings as tasmiya (pronouncing the Divine names), praise, or supplication. This beginning is called aghaziyya (exordium). The Qurʹanʹs exordium can be examined from two holistic and atomistic perspectives: first of all, Surat al-Fatiha, which incorporates these three structures respectively, is regarded as the most beautiful exordium for the whole Qurʹan. The exordiums at the beginning of the chapters of the Qurʹan are varied and have had an undeniable impact on Persian and Arabic literature. These various types of exordium are:
1. Praise and glorification of God, 2. Disconnected letters, 3. Description of the Revealed Book, 4. Description of God, 5- Description of the creation, 6. Godʹs addressing people and the Prophet 7. Interrogatory exordiums, 8. Portraying the Resurrection, 9- Description of the features of the believers and unbelievers, 10. Oath, 11. Direct address by God as the Speaker.
