چكيده لاتين :
Abstract: Fe-Si alloys are known as appropriate materials in soft magnetic parts. These alloys have a broad application in magnetic and electrical industries. In this research, Cr-Mo low alloy steel and Fe-Si powders were mixed. Mixed powders were compacted at 600 MPa and sintered at the range of 1100 to 1350°C. Effect of sintering temperature on microstructure and properties of interphases which were produced in diffusion region between Fe-Si particles and iron matrix was investigated. The amount of diffused Si on iron matrix at different sintering temperatures was determined by optical microscopy and XRD analyses. Results showed that, by raising sintering temperature the thickness of diffusion layer increases. At the elevated sintering temperature, 1250°C, transient liquid phase sin¬tering and consequently more homogeneity on Si dispersion in the matrix occurred. This effect caused extensive bonds between Fe-Si particle and the iron matrix to form.
