A survey on frequency of Moraxella bovis infection in eyes of apparently healthy cattle in Garmsar

Moraxella bovis is one of the most important agents which can cause keratoconjectivitis in cowʹs so phenomenot of pink eye is identified with this name, pink eye is considered as a very virulence illness with provide the possible of accession of wound (the form of dip in cornea) by the making inflammation in eyeʹs cornea and conjectiva .This disease increase in spring and maximizes in summer and decreases in winter. The severity of this disease is different from low to high and almost in 2 persents of cases lead to blindness. Pink eye illness is one of most important causes of economical damage to animal husbandry (because of the loss of weight, loss of production and cure expenditures which is in the result of illness). In this research, the plenty of present of moraxella bovis in the Garmsarʹs cowʹs eyes which seemed to be normal had been surveyed . for doing this work , 200 cowʹs eyeʹs conjectiva Sampled accidentally by the use of swap the samples sended to laboratory by plaing in AMIES environment. The culture of sampleshave been done by exploiting blood agar environment. The results of culture had been evaluated by the use of parganes biochemical and morphologic characteristics. The complete experiments which had been done include: gram coloration. Oxidas and catalas test and culture in TS1 environment mitrat, tornosleh milk, urea borth , gelatin and SIM. The results of this research show that moraxella bovis existed in 9 domesticated animalʹs eyes which seemed to be safe (%4/5). in this research , the difference between to sex , age groups and the different garmsarʹs areas have been surveyed in termʹs of the present of bacteria in sampled domesticated animals eyes.
