Statistical Analyses Of Exam Hall Color On Student Psychological Aspects

Regarding to environmental effects on human behaviors it is possible to create desirable place by specific spatial attitudes. This study is focused on perfect color of exam hall which is preferred by university students. Colors have physical and psychological effects on humans. So creation of tranquil space is possible using suitable colors. Moreover changing the color of some placeʹs walls is not s expensive. In this study the domain of tranquility is from decreasing of exam stress till concentrate during exam and just hue of color is inspected. Value and saturation are stable. The research method of this study is survey method which focused on preference hue of exam hallʹs color by architectural students of Science and Technology University of Iran. Result of experiment reveal that the role of value in making tranquil color is more than hue or saturation ,as white color which has the highest value and no hue is known as the most tranquil color by students. However the most tranquil hue is selected by students was normal blue (hue=-40). Future research of this study is looking for the best value and saturation of blue with hue—40 which is suitable for exam hall and experimentally prove the result of this study in a real exam hall during specific time.
