تحليلي بر وضعيت هويت قومي در جامعه ايران؛ مطالعه موردي دانشجويان دانشگاه تهران

An assessment of Ethnic Identity in Iranian Society ( A Case Study of the Students at Tehran University)

تركيب جمعيت ايران به نحوي است كه اطلاق جامعه چند قومي به آن چندان دور از واقعيت نيست. حضور و زندگي قوميت‌هاي مختلف چون فارس‌ها، ترك‌ها، كردها، لرها، بلوچ ها، تركمن ها و عرب ها در جوار يكديگر و در چارچوب جغرافيايي سياسي واحد بيانگرتنوع قومي ـ فرهنگي جامعه ايران است. به همين جهت عمدتاً نطفه بحران هويت در درون آنها وجود داشته است، كه در برهه‌هاي زماني خاص جنبه بحران سياسي يافته‌اند؛ نظير آنچه در آذربايجان، كردستان، تركمن صحرا و… اتفاق افتاده است. مساله قوميت‌ها در ايران و چگونگي تعامل آنها با يكديگر و با حكومت مركزي به عنوان يك واقعيت مهم در گذشته، حال و آينده مطرح بوده و خواهد بود. پرسش اين نوشتار آنست كه آيا سمت و سوي بازسازي هويت قومي در ايران در راستاي فرايندهاي هويت بخش مدرن است يا اينكه نوعي بازگشت به گذشته هاي سنتي مفهوم قوميت مي‌باشد؟ در اين نوشتار سعي بر آن است تا در سطح كلان ضمن گذري بر مساله قوميت ها در ايران به بررسي وضعيت كنوني و جايگاه قوميت‌ها در كشور، و تبيين سمت و سوي بازسازي هويت قومي، خصوصاً در بين دانشجويان پرداخته شود.

Composition of Iranian population renders it as multi-ethnic society. Living of different ethnics such as Fars, Turk, Kurd, Lour, Balooch, Turkmen and Arab near each other and in the same political-geographical region shows the ethnic and cultural variety in Iranian society. So, we always can find the identity crises in it. This structural incongruity provides sociopolitical ground for social tensions and upheavals such as happened in Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and Turkmen Sahara from time to time in the Iranian past history. Ethnic problem in Iran and the way of interaction with each other and with central government is an important fact in the present time and also in the past and will be in the future. The question posed in this paper is as follow: is the way of ethnic identity reconstruction in Iran in the line of modern identification process or is the return to the traditional concept of ethnicity? In this article we try to look on the ethnic problem in Iran and analyze the present situation and position of ethnicity in the country and also explain the ethnic identity reconstruction; especially among students. At the end, it is intended to find out the methods of increasing inter-ethnic interactions and also the relationship between various ethnics and government in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
