مطالعه مقدماتي بررسي اثربخشي آموزش گروهي والدين كودكان اوتستيك بر دانش و ميزان استرس– اضطراب- افسردگي آن‌ها

A pilot study on efficacy of group educational training on knowledge level, stress, anxiety and depression in parents of children with autistic disorder

چكيده مقدمه: مطالعاتي كه اثربخشي آموزش به والدين را در گروه كودكان اتيستيك مورد سنجش قرار مي‌دهد، محدود مي‌باشد. اين پژوهش با هدف بررسي اثربخشي آموزش گروهي والدين كودكان اوتيستيك بر دانش والدين در مورد بيماري، راه‌هاي كمك به كودك و ميزان استرس- اضطراب- افسردگي آنان صورت گرفت. مواد و روش‌ها: در دي ماه 1386 افراد از ميان والدين كودكان اوتيستيك كه جهت درمان و توانبخشي فرزند خود به بيمارستان روزبه مراجعه مي‌كردند و علاقمند به شركت در جلسات آموزشي گروهي والدين بودند، انتخاب شدند. 12 والد در اين مطالعه شركت كردند. جهت گردآوري داده‌ها از برگه تاريخچه‌گيري گفتار- زبان، شنوايي، برگه سنجش آگاهي والدين، مقياس افسردگي- اضطراب- استرس والدين و پرسش‌نامه ميزان رضايتمندي شركت‌كنندگان استفاده شد. يافته‌ها: يافته‌ها نشان داد كه اين دوره آموزشي باعث افزايش سطح آگاهي والدين در مورد بيماري و راه‌هاي كمك به كودك شده است (001/0 > P). والدين كيفيت اين دوره آموزشي را در حد مطلوب ارزيابي كردند. همچنين در ميزان اضطراب- افسردگي- استرس والدين كاهشي حاصل نشد. نتيجه‎گيري: دوره‌هاي آموزشي گروهي والدين مي‌تواند آگاهي والدين را در مورد كودك و درمان آن به طور معني‌داري افزايش دهد. مطالعات تكميلي با نمونه بيشتر و سنين مختلف پيش‌نهاد مي‌شود. كليد واژه‌ها: : اوتيسم، آموزش گروهي، آموزش والدين اوتيستيك.

Abstract Introduction: There is a paucity of data regarding the efficacy of group education for parents of children with autistic disorder. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of parental group education in increasing their knowledge about the disease and ways to help autistic children and decreasing their depression, anxiety and stress. Materials and Methods: Twelve parents who had a child with autistic disorder and was referred to Ruzbeh Hospital for treatment participated in a group education program consisting of five two-hour sessions. Before initiating and after completing the program the participants were evaluated via following assessment tools: The speech-language-hearing history profile, depression-anxiety-stress scale, participant satisfaction scale, and a tailored questioner for assessing parents’ knowledge level before and after training. Results: Study data showed a significant increase in parents’ knowledge level (P < 0.001). The quality of this program was mentioned to be appropriate by the participants. There was no improvement in any measures of the depression, anxiety, and stress. Conclusion: Group educational training could be effective in increasing knowledge of parents with autistic children about autism. Additional studies with more samples from different age groups are recommended. Keywords: Autism, Group training, Parent training.
