چكيده مقدمه: براي رشد و اعتلاي فرهنگ يك جامعه، به مشاركت تمام افراد از جمله معلولين جسمي- حركتي نياز است. اين پژوهش با هدف بررسي ميزان انطباق ساختمان و تجهيزات كتابخانه‌هاي عمومي و دانشگاهي شهر زنجان با استانداردهاي بين‌المللي انجام شده است. روش بررسي: پژوهش حاضر پيمايشي- توصيفي بود. جامعه‌ي پژوهش تعداد 142 نفر از معلولين شهر زنجان، همچنين ساختمان و تجهيزات 14 كتابخانه‌ي عمومي و دانشگاهي اين شهر در سال 1385 بود. ابزار گردآوري داده‌ها پرسش‌نامه بود و روايي و پايايي آن از طريق ضريب Cronbach’s alpha (84/0) محاسبه گرديد. تحليل داده‌هاي پژوهش با استفاده از آمار توصيفي نظير درصد و فراواني انجام شد. يافته‌ها: از ديدگاه معلولين، پاركينگ، سطح شيبدار و فضاي اختصاصي كتابخانه‌ها داراي بيشترين و فضاهاي دروني و فضاي عمومي داراي كمترين موانع حركتي بودند. 2/46 درصد از كتابخانه‌ها فاقد سطح شيبدار و 63 درصد از كتابخانه‌هاي مورد مطالعه فاقد فضاي اختصاصي براي معلولين بودند. نتيجه‌گيري: ساختمان و تجهيزات اين مراكز از نظر دسترس پذيري با وضعيت مطلوب انطباق صد در صد نداشت و بايستي تمامي فضاهاي آن‌ها بر مبناي استانداردهاي موجود، مورد بررسي و بهينه‌سازي قرار گيرد. واژه‌‌هاي كليدي: مراكز اطلاع رساني؛ كتابداران؛ كتابخانه‌ها؛ از كار افتادگان.

Introduction: For cultural development and growth of a community, the participation of all individuals, including physically disabled people are required. In this study, the compliance rate of public and academic libraries and information centers’ building and equipment in Zanjan, Iran was determined according to the international standards for the physically handicapped, from the perspective of architectural experts, library officials and disabled people. Methods: In this descriptive survey study, 142 disabled people in Zanjan, Iran and the buildings and equipment of 14 public and academic libraries of the city was studied in 2006. Data collected using a questionnaire which validity and reliability was calculated via coefficient Cronbachʹs alpha (0.84). Obtained data analyzed using descriptive statistics such as percentage and frequency. Results: From disabled’s point of view, parking space, ramp and private space of libraries have the most physical obstacles and public and inner spaces has the least obstacles for them. 46.2% of libraries did not have ramp and 63% of libraries being studied did not have private study space for disabled. Conclusion: The buildings and equipment of these places are not adjusted to suitable condition to 100 percent and all spaces should be evaluated and optimized based on existing standards.
