اين پژوهش به بررسي نحوه استفاده از توانايي هاي ارتباطي كشور براي ايفاي نقش موثر در سازمان هاي بين المللي و منطقه اي ارتباطات راه دور پرداخته و اين موضوع را مورد توجه قرار داده است كه با در نظر داشتن اهميت و تاثير سازمان هاي منطقه اي و بين المللي، به خصوص ارتباطات راه دور در نظام بين الملل، با استفاده از امكانات كشور، چه رفتاري براي نفوذ، اثر گذاري و ارتقا جايگاه در اين سازمان ها در پيش گرفته شود. درحقيقت سوال تحقيق و فرضيه تحقيق اين است كه" بين استفاده از توانايي هاي ارتباطي كشور با ارتقا جايگاه و اثرگذاري آن در سازمان هاي بين المللي و منطقه اي ارتباطات راه دور، رابطه معني داري وجود دارد ". نوع تحقيق كاربردي – توسعه اي است. روش پژوهش، توصيفي، موردي و زمينه اي مي باشد. متغير مستقل " توانايي هاي ارتباطي كشور" و متغير وابسته آن " اثر گذاري و ارتقا جايگاه در سازمان هاي منطقه اي و بين المللي ارتباطات راه دور" است. جامعه آماري پژوهش متخصصان و صاحب نظران روابط بين المللي و ارتباطات مستقر در تهران در نظر گرفته شده و پرسشنامه تحقيق با توضيح حضوري محقق تكميل شده است. در مباني نظري ؛ نظريات روابط بين الملل و ارتباطات مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. تحليل استنباطي داده ها براي اثبات فرضيه تحقيق با استفاده از آزمون "كاي اسكوير" و آزمون ميانگين ( t- student ) صورت گرفته و از مقايسه نتايج آماره آزمون ها با مقادير استاندارد فرضيه پژوهش تاييد شده و در نهايت، نتايج تحقيق و پيشنهاد ها ارايه شده است.
