بررسي مفهوم جوهر در تفكر سه فيلسوف: ارسطو، ابن‌سينا، اسپينوزا

Avistotle, Ibn-Sina, and Spinoza on “Substance”: A Comparative Study

ارسطو و اسپينوزا، دو فيلسوف جريان‌ساز در تاريخ فلسفه‌اند و موضوع فلسفه‌ي هردويشان جوهر است، با مقايسه‌ي ويژگي‌هاي جوهر از ديدگاه ايشان، ريشه‌ي بسياري اختلافات در بخش سترگي از فلسفه‌ي غرب به چنگ مي‌آيد. درخور توجه آنكه اين دو فيلسوف در تعريف جوهر، همانندي‌هايي با هم دارند؛ اما درباره‌ي ويژگي‌ها و مصاديق آن بسيار از يكديگر دور مي‌شوند. بررسي آراي ارسطو در دو كتاب ارگانون و متافيزيك، و تبيين نگرش اسپينوزا در كتاب اخلاق، گام نخست اين مقاله است. البته نگاهي به جوهر در عرف و اصطلاح ابن‌سينا و نوآوري‌هاي او مي‌تواند كمكي براي درك بهتر جوهر از منظر مشاييان باشد. سنجه‌ي پژوهشگر براي ارزيابي، ميزان سازگاري تعريف جوهر با ديگر بخش‌هاي نظام‌ فلسفي است. با بررسي‌هاي پيش‌رو، نتيجه آن است كه تعريف اسپينوزا استواري منطقي بيشتري دارد و نظام منسجم‌تري را فراهم آورده است.

Aristotle and Spinoza are two stream making Philosophers in the history of philosophy, and both has chosen the matter of substance as their philosophical subject. The root of many disputes on a huge part of west philosophy can be obtained through comparing the characteristics of the sub from their point of view. This is notable that these philosophers has some similarities in defining the substance, but they get far from each other in defining the characteristics and instances of substance. The articleʹs first step to examining Aristotleʹs viewpoint in two books of Arganon and Metaphysics, and analayzing Spinoza,s theory in book of Ethics. However, looking toward the meaning of substance in the Avecinaʹs custom context and expression, and his innovation can also help for better understanding of substance through Mashaismʹs views. The researchers scale for analyzing has been the amount of consistency of substance definition with the other parts of philosophical system. With examining the following the conclusion would be that Spinozaʹs definition bears more logical stability and provides a more solid system.
