Moral and social pathology in Ebn Yamin’s Divan

ابن‌يمين فريومدي يكي از شاعران دوره مغول بشمار مي‌رود؛ دوره‌اي كه در آن اخلاق اجتماعي و پايه‌هاي فكري و فرهنگي مردم رو به انحطاط و فساد گذاشت. اگر چه آشفتگي‌هاي سياسي ـ اجتماعي و سقوط اخلاق اجتماعي و ارزش‌هاي انساني در سرزمين‌هاي مغلوب شده در اين دوره موجب بوجود آمدن روحيه تسليم و جبرگرايي در ميان عامه مردم جامعه شد، اما در جوان‌مردان و برخي از شاعران آزاده پارسي زبان، موجب دميده شدن روح ستم‌ستيزي و قوت گرفتن ادبيات انتقادي شد. هر يك از شاعران آزادانديش اين دوره با توجه به جو حاكم در جامعه و عصر خويش، روشي خاص را براي مبارزه با رذايل اخلاقي و اجتماعي بوجود آمده در ميان مردم، اوضاع نابسامان سياسي و اجتماعي و نيز بي‌عدالتي‌هاي حاكمان و دست‌نشاندگان آن‌ها برگزيدند. ابن‌يمين نيز با اين‌كه به‌گونه‌اي گسترده و افراطي به مدح و ستايش اميران و وزيران پرداخته است، از نقد عمل‌كرد آن‌ها و نيز نقد اخلاق اجتماعي و اوضاع جامعه غافل نمانده است. گرچه انتقادات او نسبت به برخي از شاعران و سخن‌پردازان هم‌عصرش هم‌چون سعدي و سيف فرغاني بسيار ملايم‌تر و دون‌پايه‌تر است، اما هر جا كه فرصتي دست داده افراد مختلف جامعه، از جمله صاحبان مناصب و موقعيت‌هاي اجتماعي و نيز مردم عامه را مورد نقد و نكوهش قرار داده است كه در اين مقال به آسيب‌شناسي اخلاقي و اجتماعي در ديوان اشعار ابن‌يمين پراخته مي‌شود.

Ebn Yamin Forumadi is regarded as one of the poets in the Mongol era when the social morality and mental and cultural foundations of people began to decline. Although the social-political upheavals, and fall in morality and humane values in the conquered lands in this era caused the emergence of the spirit of resignation and determinism among the populace yet among some of the proud Persian poets, and brigands rose the spirit of fighting against oppression and literary criticism began to take root. Each poet in this era, according to the existing atmosphere in the society at the time, chose certain approach to fight the moral and social meanness, social and political instabilities and injustices of the governors and their puppets. Although Ebn Yamin had praised extensively the rulers and ministers he had also criticized their actions and the social state of the society and social morality. Although his criticism in comparison with his contemporaries such as Saadi and Seif Forqani are less harsh and is ranked inferior to them, but on occasions he has criticized people from all walks of life, elites and common people alike. This article deals with the moral and social pathology in the poetry of Ebn Yamin.
