پيامدهاي اجتماعي و سياسيِ برخاسته از فروسايي محيطي، گرمايش جهاني و كشمكش بر سر منابع طبيعي، محيط زيست را كانون مطالعات امنيتي سده بيست و يكم قرار داده به گونه اي كه ناامني بوم شناسي و نابودي بُن مايه هاي زيستكره به عنوان بخشي از تهديدات غير سنتي با جُستار امنيت انساني پيوند استواري يافته است. طي دو دهه اخير، دانش ژيوپليتيك، به فراخورِ درون مايه هاي جغرافيايي و سياسي اش جايي كه «ژيو»(زمين) و «پليتيك» (سياست) در هم مي آميزند در قالب ژيوپليتيك زيست محيطي به واكاوي رخدادها و مسايل برخاسته از كشمكش بر سر منابع طبيعي و كمبود منابع طبيعي پرداخته است. به گونه اي كه بَرهمكُنشي و درهم تنيدگي مفاهيم و مصاديق سياست، قدرت و محيط زيست از پُر بَسامدترين واژگانِ واكاويِ جستار محيط زيست از دهه 1980 به بعد بوده اند. از اين ديدگاه، مناسبات قدرت و زيستكره به شدت به هم در آميخته اند. چنين درهم آميختگي در چارچوب دانش ژيوپليتيك امكان بررسي و واكاوي مي يابد. از آنجا كه تهديدات ياد شده، كاركرد و گستره اي كروي يافته اند، رويكردهاي «نظامي و ملي محورِ» سنتي توان تبيين عوامل تهديدات غير سنتي را ندارند. بر اين پايه، تبيين و مديريت امنيت، سرشتي انسان محور با كُنشي مشترك و جهان گستر طلب مي كند.

Geopolitical explanation of environmental security Morad Kavianirad: Assistant Professor, Faculty of Geography, in Political Geography Kharazmi University Abstract Concerns of social and political consequences of environmental degradation, global warming and conflicts over natural resources, have put Environment on the Center of Security Studies in the twenty-first century. So that, ecological insecurity and the destruction of the biosphere as part of non-traditional threats have strongly linked to human security. According to geographical and political issues, over the past two decades, geopolitics science, where land (geo) and politics are compounded in the environmental geopolitics, has analyzed events and issues of conflicts over natural resources and lack of natural resources. Since the 1980s, interaction and interrelationship of concepts and examples of politics, power and environment have become the most frequent words of the Environmental analysis issues. According to this perspective, the relations between power and the biosphere are strongly mixed together. This can be studied only in Geopolitics. Hence, these threats have global function. Accordingly, military, national and traditional approaches can not explain the factors of non-traditional threats. Based on this, for explanation and security management, we have to consider human oriention and global cooperation.
