چكيده فارسي :
پژوهشگران در سال‌هاي اخير، ميان دو چيز، يك چيز را پذيرفته و چيز ديگر را از بنياد برانداخته‌اند.
آن دو چيز اين هاست: يكي اين كه آيا سعدي در سرگذشت‌ها و يادواره‌هايي كه به خود نسبت مي‌دهد، صادق است يا نه؟ دوم اين كه آيا تاريخ ولادتي را كه ما (پژوهشگران) با شايد و بايد و حدس و گمان برايش در نظر گرفته‌ايم، درست همين است يا نه؟ (معمولاً ميان سال‌هاي 606 تا 615 قمري).
پژوهشگران، چون حدس و گمان خود را بپذيرفته‌اند، آن ديگر را يعني ادعاهاي سعدي را درباره خودش، به حكايات ناباورانه و خيال‌پردازي‌هاي شاعرانه، نسبت داده‌اند. در حقيقت پايه و شالوده بنايي را از بن بر كنده‌اند، تا سقف ايوان آن را نقش و‌نگار كنند.
در اين گفتار كوشش بر آن است كه با تعيين تاريخي منطقي براي ولادت سعدي، گوشه‌هايي از زندگاني و راه و رسم و رفتار او، چنان كه بوده و خود مدعي آن است، روشن شود، با اين باور كه آنچه را او درباره خود مي‌گويد و مي‌نويسد، راست و سخنش صدق است. در نتيجه، اين مقدمه‌اي خواهد شد براي زندگينامه و شرح احوال تازه‌اي از سعدي بزرگ.
چكيده لاتين :
Researchers in the recent years, from among two things have accepted one and rejected the other.
The first one is Saadi truthful and honest about the stories, adventures and memoirs relates which to himself? Or not.
The second one is whether Saadi’s birth date which we (researchers) have guessed at and accepted with a lot of doubt, is just the same date of his birth? Or not.
Because researchers have accepted their doubtful words, they relate all stories, adventures and incidents which Saadi says and claims about himself, to unbelievable, imaginary memoirs or poetrical fanciful theories.
Indeed, they have destroyed and uprooted the very basis and foundation of the building, and covered its roof and ceiling with painting and pictures.
This article tries to discuss a logical date about Saadi’s birth and to clarify some corners of his life, his manners, behaviours and treatments, as they are and he himself claims , while believing that every thing which he says or writes about himself is true. As a result, it will be the first steps and a production for a new biography and a real report about Saadi, the great.
