Guidelines for Increasing the Efficiency and Effectiveness of Teachers in Virtual Education

فناوري‌هاي اطلاعاتي و ارتباطي زندگي را در بسياري از ابعاد آن دگرگون ساخته‌اند. از جمله اين دگرگوني‌ها تغيير در شيوه‌هاي سنتي آموزش است به گونه‌اي كه نياز به حضور فيزيكي در كلاس درس كاهش يافته است. اگر چه تا ديروز، آموزش تنها از وجود مربيان و معلمان بهره مي‌گرفت و كتاب به منزله اصلي‌ترين منبع اطلاعاتي در آموزش محسوب مي‌شد در حال حاضر وجود ابزارها، روش‌ها و محيط‌‌هاي جديد آموزشي، شيوه‌هاي جديدي را به وجود آورده است. از جمله اين شيوه‌ها «آموزش الكترونيكي» است كه به طور معمول در آن به نقش بنيادين آموزش‌گر بي‌توجّهي مي‌شود و تصوّر بر اين است كه معلم در اين نظام به اندازه آموزش سنتي اهميت ندارد. اين در حالي است كه كمّيّت و كيفيت يادگيري فراگيرندگان و استفاده اثربخش و كارآمد از تجهيزات و وسايل گوناگون، وابسته به ميزان فعاليت آموزش‌گر و نگرش‌ها و مهارت‌هاي او است. اين مقاله به روش اسنادي و به صورت تحليلي- مقايسه‌اي به ارايه مجموعه‌اي از راهبردها و فنون كاربردي مي‌پردازد كه كاربست آنها در افزايش كارآيي و اثربخشي معلم و بهبود كيفيت يادگيري فراگيرندگان در آموزش الكترونيكي نقش مهمي برعهده دارد. مباحث مورد بررسي عبارت از: نظريه آموزش از دور هلمبرگ، راه‌هاي افزايش ارتباط دانشجو و اساتيد، تشويق دانشجويان به همكاري، ترغيب دانشجويان به يادگيري فعال، ارايه بازخورد سريع، تاكيد بر زمان كار، تفهيم انتظارات دوره آموزشي و احترام به استعدادها و سبك‌هاي گوناگون يادگيري مي‌‌باشد.

Information and communication technology has changes life to a great extent in many different aspects. Accordingly, the traditional methods of teaching have also evolved and physical presence in the classroom is not as necessary as before. In the past, education benefitted solely from the presence of teachers, and books were the main source of information. Currently, with the emergence of new tools, methods, and learning environments, modern modes of education are forming. Of these methods is electronic learning in which the fundamental role of the teacher is usually neglected, and it is commonly assumed that in this method the teacher is not as important as the traditional education system. However, the learning quantity and quality and the effective and efficient use of different equipment depends on the teacherʹs amount of activity, attitude, and skills. This descriptive-analytic study presents a set of guidelines and techniques to enhance the teacherʹs efficiency and effectiveness and the learning quality of the students in electronic learning. The subjects covered in this study are as follows: Holmberg’s distance learning theory, methods for increasing the student-teacher relationship, encouraging students to cooperate, pursuing students to learn actively, presenting quick feedback, emphasizing on work time, realizing the expectations of educational course, and respecting different learning styles and skills.
