The role of e-learning in Medical Sciences Universities

گسترش روز افزون دسترسي به سخت افزارها و نرم افزارهاي مناسب براي آموزش الكترونيكي، به خصوص توسعه شبكه جهان گستر وب، افق جديدي را پيش روي موسسات آموزشي نهاده است. اهميت اين مسيله در حوزه علوم پزشكي كه با جان انسانها سر و كار دارد دو چندان است، زيرا علاوه بر مسايل آموزشي، پ‍‍ژوهشي، و توليد اطلاعات، درمان صحيح و اصولي بيماران نيز در سايه آشنايي با اطلاعات روز آمد و روشهاي جديد امكان پذير است. بدين لحاظ علم پزشكي از دستاوردهاي فناوري اطلاعات به سرعت و با همه امكانات بهره مي گيرد تا اطلاعات مورد نياز را سريعاً در دسترس پزشكان قرار دهد. اين مقاله به بررسي جايگاه آموزش الكترونيكي در علوم پزشكي مي پردازد. اين مقاله از نوع مروري بوده و جمع آوري اطلاعات با استفاده از مستندات چاپي و الكترونيكي مرتبط با موضوع صورت گرفته است. براي پياده سازي آموزش الكترونيكي در حوزه علوم پزشكي به يك سري از زير ساختها و استانداردها و مهارتهايي نياز است كه قبل از پرداختن به آموزش الكترونيكي بايد مورد توجه دانشگاههاي علوم پزشكي قرار گيرد . اين زير ساختها و استانداردها نقش ويژه اي در موفقيت اجراي آموزش الكترونيكي ايفا مي كنند. با عنايت به مزايايي كه آموزش الكترونيكي ذاتاً آن را داراست در لزوم توسعه آموزش الكترونيكي علوم پزشكي ترديدي وجود ندارد ولي آنچه كه مهم است نحوه دسترسي موثر به اين نوع از آموزش است . لذا پيشنهاد مي گردد با تطبيق فرايندهاي موجود در دنيا و با استفاده از تجارب كشورهاي سرآمد در اين زمينه مناسب ترين روش آموزش الكترونيكي انتخاب و نسبت به پياده سازي آن اقدام شود.

Background and Aim: Ever-increasing development of access to appropriate software and hardware for e-learning especially development of worldwide web has suggested new horizons for educational institutes. It is much important in medical sciences, because Medical Sciences deal with the health of human beings. Since beside issues related to education, research and information production, appropriate treatment of the patients is possible through having up to date and new information as well. For this reason Medical Sciences utilize information technology as soon as possible in order to prepare essential information for physicians quickly. This article discusses the role of e-learning in Medical Sciences universities. Materials and Methods: in this literature review article, gathering information has been done by using paper and paperless documents related to the topic. Results: For implementing of e-learning in Medical Sciences organization there should be some infra-structures, standards and skills which are to be noted prior to commencing e-learning. These infra-structures, standards and skills play a special role in successful implementation of e-learning. Conclusion: Regarding the advantages of e-learning naturally possesses, there is no doubt in necessity of developing Medical Sciences e-learning. But the ways of efficient access to this sort of education is much more important. So, it is recommended that by comparing the existing process in the world and using the experiences of prominent countries in this field, the most appropriate method be chosen and applied.
