امنيتِ محيط زندگي، يكي از مهم ترين عوامل سازنده كيفيت مطلوب در زندگي انسان به شمار مي‌رود. امنيت همواره از بنيادي‌ترين نيازهاي بشر مي‌باشد و تا اين نياز تامين نگردد او نمي‌تواند از فضايي كه در آن قرار گرفته، برداشتي مطلوب داشته باشد. با توسعه ي روزافزون شهرها لزوم ايجاد بزرگ راه‌ها و استفاده از آن ها بيش از پيش آشكار مي‌شود و اين در حالي است كه بزرگ راه‌ها در حاشيه ي خود داراي فضاهايي هستند كه اغلب از پوشش گياهي برخوردارند، اما به واسطه جدا افتادگي از محلات پيرامون خود و همچنين عدم طراحي و به كارگيري مناسب عناصر كالبدي از نظر امنيت احساس آسيب پذيري را براي استفاده كنندگان به دنبال دارند. هدف اصلي اين پژوهش بررسي ارتباط ميان ارتقاي سطح كيفي فضا و احساس امنيت در فضاهاي سبز حاشيه بزرگ راه هاي شهري از ديدگاه استفاده كنندگان از اين فضاها مي‌باشد، در اين راستا معيارهايي براي ارزيابي امنيت از لحاظ كالبدي از ديدگاه صاحب‌نظران استخراج شده است و جامعه آماري اين پژوهش را ساكنان و شاغلان و گردشگران حاشيه بزرگ راه شهيد همت تشكيل مي‌دهد. حجم نمونه اين پژوهش 330 نفر مي‌باشد. يافته هاي اين پژوهش حاكي از وجود ارتباط ميان سه متغير اصلي كنترل فضا، نظارت و فعاليت در فضاهاي سبز با احساس امنيت مي‌باشد. در نهايت اين نتيجه حاصل گرديد كه ارتقاي سطح كيفي فضا از طريق بهبود شرايط كالبدي منجر به افزايش ميزان استفاده از فضا مي گردد و اين افزايش استفاده، احساس امنيت را به دنبال دارد.

Safety environment is considered to be one of the most important constituent factors of favorite quality. Safety is always the most fundamental human need and until his need is not met, he could not have favorite interpretation from the space in which he is . Increasing the development of cities has brought about a clear necessity to create and use highways while the highways have spaces in their own border and often have vegetation. But due to becoming separated from their own surrounding neighborhoods and also lack of suitable design to use physical elements,there are some safety concerns for senses of vulnerability for users. The main goal of this research is to check the relationship between upgrading level of space quality and senses of safety in green spaces of border of urban highways from the perspective of users of these spaces. In this context, some measures are extracted for assessment of safety from physical aspect from the perspective of scholars .The statistical society of this research is consisted of residents , employers and tourists in border of Hemmat highway. The sample volume of this research is 330 people. The findings of this research show that there is relationship between three main variables of space control, supervision and activity in green space with senses of safety. Finally, this result was achieved that upgrading level of space quality through improving the physical conditions will cause the increasing use of space which has outcomes for sense of safety.
