بررسي فرآيند اسپرماتوژنز در سوسمار آگاماي قفقازي

Study of Spermatogenesis Process in the Caucasian Agamid lizard, Laudakia caucasia

در سوسماران اسپرماتوژنز به‌عنوان بخش مهمي از روند توليد مثل به‌طور كلي به دو حالت فصلي و غيرفصلي انجام مي‌گيرد. روش فصلي معمولاً در گونه هاي ساكن نواحي معتدل ديده مي‌شود در حالي‌كه طريقه غيرفصلي در گونه‌هايي ديده مي‌شود كه در مناطق گرمسيري زيست مي‌كنند. در اين تحقيق فعاليت اسپرماتوژنز در گونه آگاماي قفقازي1 ساكن زاگرس مركزي بررسي شده است. براي اين كار تعداد 34 نمونه از سوسمار مذكور در دوفصل مختلف سال از محيط زيست طبيعي آن‌ها در شهرستان نورآباد جمع‌آوري گرديدند. نمونه ها سپس كشته شدند و بيضه‌هاي آن‌ها خارج گرديد و بعد از اندازه‌گيري ابعاد بيضه ها، نمونه ها براي مطالعه بافت‌شناسي آماده شدند. نتايج به‌دست آمده از پژوهش‌هاي مورفومتريك، هيستومتريك و بافت‌شناسي نشان داد كه فرآيند اسپرماتوژنز در اين گونه به‌صورت فصلي است و طي دو دوره فعال و غيرفعال انجام مي شود. دوره فعال كه اواخر بهار و اوايل تابستان است زماني است كه سلول‌هاي پيش‌ساز زايا فعالانه درگير روند تكثير، نمو و تمايز هستند و در اين زمان تمام اشكال تمايزي سلول‌هاي اسپرماتوژنيك در ديواره لوله هاي مني‌ساز ديده مي‌شود. در دوره غيرفعال كه با اواخر تابستان تا اوايل بهار آينده مطابقت مي‌كند اسپرماتوزوييدي نيز در لوله هاي مني‌ساز يافت نمي‌شود چون فعاليت اسپرم‌زايي در بيضه ها متوقف شده است. در عوض در اين زمان فعاليت‌هاي ترميمي در بيضه انجام مي‌گيرد و حيوان خود را براي شروع دوره ديگري از توليد اسپرم در فصل بعدي مهيا مي كند.

In lizards, spermatogenesis occurs in two different ways: seasonal and non-seasonal. In seasonal type which is usually found in temperate-climate lizards, the process of spermatogenesis is limited to a defined period of the year, whereas in non-seasonal type that is observed in tropical-climate lizards, this process occurs continuously throughout the year. In this research, the spermatogenesis activity was studied in a lizard species; Laudakia caucasia that inhabits central Zagros Mountains. To fulfill this task, we collected 34 specimens of this species from Norabad, Lorestan province during two different seasons: spring and summer. The collected specimens were then killed and their testes were removed. After measuring the testis dimensions, the gonads were prepared for histological observations. The results obtained from morphometric, histometric as well as histological examinations revealed that the spermatoge-nesis in this taxon is seasonal and contains two distinct phases: active and inactive. In active phase which coincides with late spring to early summer, cells in seminiferous tubules are actively involved in spermatogenesis process and all shapes of spermatogenic cells can be observed within the tubules. During the inactive phase which begins in late-summer and lasts until the next spring, no spermatozoids are found in the tubules as the process of spermatoge-nesis has been ceased. However, in this period, the regeneration activity or mitotic divisions are taking place in gonads and the animal is preparing for its next spermatogenesis season.
