بررسي تنوع و تركيب گونه اي مرجان ها در زيستگاه هاي مصنوعي شمال خليج فارس (بحركان)

Study on the diversity and species structure of corals in artificial reefs in the Northwest of the Persian Gulf

اين مطالعه به منظور بررسي تنوع و تركيب گونه اي مرجان هاي متكي بر زيستگاه هاي مصنوعي 6 و 7 ساله احداث شده در سواحل بحركان واقع در شمال شرقي خليج فارس انجام شد. نمونه هاي مرجاني به صورت فصلي، از بهار تا زمستان 1388، از 4 ايستگاه، به طور تصادفي و با استفاده از كوادرات 25/0 × 25/0 متر، از طريق غواصي جمع آوري شدند. در طول دوره مطالعاتي 8 گونه مرجان نرم و تنها يگ گونه مرجان سخت مشاهده شد. نتايج مشخص كرد كه مرجان هاي نرم و به ويژه Plumarella sp. بيش از 90 درصد پوشش زنده را به خود اختصاص دادند. همچنين ايستگاه هاي واقع در محل سازه هاي جديد و قديم داراي تركيب گونه اي متفاوتي از مرجان ها بودند. مرجان Anthomasthus sp. در ايستگاه قديم و گونه Plumarella sp. در ساير ايستگاه ها به عنوان گونه هاي غالب مرجان شناخته شدند. تفاوت هاي بين دو نوع سازه را مي توان ناشي از تفاوت در مكان استقرار، اندازه، پروفيل و سن آنها دانست

This study was carried out to study on the diversity and species structure of corals in 6 and 7 years old artificially made substrates in Bahrekan coastal water in the Northwest of the Persian Gulf. Seasonal sampling from 4 stations was done by SCUBA diving from May 2009 to February 2010. The samples were randomly obtained by using quadrates of 0.25m. During the studied period, 8 species of soft coral and only one hard coral were recorded. Also soft corals, mainly Plumarella sp. accounted up to 90 percent of the total living coverage in the artificial reef. Two type of artificial reefs (old and young) showed differences in the species composition. Anthomasthus sp. had the highest percentage coverage at the old site, while Plumarella sp. was the dominant species in the other sites. These differences may be due to the variations in size, profile, position and age between them.
