جغرافياي تاريخي منطقه زاگرس مركزي در دوران پيش از اسلام چكيده با توجه به اهميت جغرافياي تاريخي غرب ايران، متاسفانه تاكنون كمتر به جغرافياي تاريخي منطقه زاگرس مركزي پرداخته شده است. اين منطقه بخش عمده استان كرمانشاه و بخشي از استان‌هاي همجوار آن را تشكيل مي‌دهد. آنچه به عنوان يك كليت اساسي مطرح است، اينكه اين منطقه به عنوان خاستگاه اولين حكومت ايراني يعني مادها دانسته شده است و همدان به عنوان مركز اين حكومت از شهرت جهاني برخوردار است؛ ليكن در خصوص شهرهاي ديگري كه در اين محدوده و خصوصاً در مسير راه باستاني به سمت بابل قرار داشته‌اند، كمتر نوشته شده است. در اين مقاله منابع موجود در چهار دوره زماني شامل: جغرافياي تاريخي زاگرس مركزي از آغاز تا دوره هخامنشي، دوران اشكاني و بالاخره جغرافياي تاريخي منطقه در دوران ساساني مورد بررسي قرار مي‌گيرند.

To notice to regards historical Geography of west of Iran unfortunately, it hadn’t any attention to historical Geography of Central Zagros. This region consists of a great a mount of Kermanshah and the neighbourʹs states. whatʹs important as a whole , It is the first point of Iranian Government (Media), and Hamadan as the center of This Government has the universal famous, but it hasn’t written about The other cities in the way of Babel . In this issue we have investigated the reference of four periods. Consists of historical Geography of Central Zagross from The first to Achaemenian period, Achaemenian period, Parthian period and finally, historical geography in Sasanian period. In investigation of resources, It is clear that during of this period, this region has been noticed by every Governments and , having been governed in this aria has many advantages for every people and country . This area has been called the Gate of Iran and the Gate of east; It means that it is the Gate of Iran and eastern areas of it.
