يادآوري و قضاوت درباره فراواني كلمات هيجاني و خنثي در دانشجويان راست برتر و چپ ‏برتر

Recall and judgment of frequency of emotional and neutral words in right-‎handed and left-handed students

دست برتري يكي از ويژگي‌هاي انساني است كه با تفاوت‌هاي ‏فردي در فعاليت‌هاي دستي شناخته مي‌شود. نيمكره‌هاي مغزي از ‏نظر ساختار و كاركرد، با هم متفاوت هستند، در نتيجه هركدام ‏براي كاركردهاي شناختي ويژه‌اي تخصص يافته‌اند. از آنجا كه ‏چپ برتران و راست برتران از نظر تسلط نيمكره‌اي با هم ‏متفاوتند و با عنايت به تخصص يافتگي متفاوت نيمكره‌ها براي ‏كاركردهاي خاص، مي‌توان انتظار داشت كه اين افراد در ‏كاركردهاي شناختي خود تفاوت‌هايي را نشان دهند. اين پژوهش ‏با هدف مقايسه چپ برتران و راست برتران در يادآوري (پردازش ‏راهبردي) و قضاوت درباره فراواني عناصر هيجاني و خنثي ‏‏(پردازش خودكار) انجام شده است. براي انجام اين كار، 20 ‏دانشجوي چپ برتر داوطلب انتخاب و با 20 دانشجوي راست ‏برتر همتا شدند. هر دوگروه آزمايه رايانه‌اي يادآوري و قضاوت ‏درباره فراواني كلمات هيجاني و خنثي را انجام دادند. تحليل ‏يافته‌ها نشان داد كه دانشجويان چپ برتر نسبت به كلمات ‏هيجاني در هر دو تكليف يادآوري و قضاوت داراي سوگيري ‏هستند. به بيان ديگر، چپ برتران عناصر هيجاني منفي را هم ‏بيشتر برآورد كرده و هم بيشتر به ياد مي‌آورند.‏

Handedness is one of the human characteristics ‎that known as individual differences in hand ‎activity. The study of handedness is important ‎from two aspects; first for better understanding ‎the phenomenon itself and second to better ‎understand the cognitive and emotional aspects of ‎the human brain. Hemispheres of the brain are ‎different in structure and function, so each ‎hemisphere has become specialized for specific ‎cognitive functions. Since left-handed and right-‎handed humans are different in hemisphere ‎dominance, these differences in their cognitive ‎functions can be expected. This study was ‎conducted to compare the left and right-handed ‎students in recall (strategic processing), and ‎judgments about the frequency of emotional and ‎neutral elements (automatic Processing). Twenty ‎left-handed volunteers student selected from the ‎Borujen Payam-e-Noor University and then were ‎matched with 20 right-handed students. Both ‎groups were examined by Recall and Judgment of ‎Frequency Computerized task. Results of this ‎study were analyzed using SPSS statistical ‎software and with repeated measures method. ‎Analysis indicated that left-handed students ‎showed biases both in recall and judgment of ‎frequency for emotional words.‎
