Closeness and Transcendence of God as Seen by Ibn Arabi

مساله تشبيه و تنزيه خداوند و چگونگي رابطه آن باذات حق از پرگفتگوترين مسايل خداشناسي است كه در ميان الهيون اعم از متكلم و فيلسوف و عارف نيز سابقه طولاني داشته و قرن ها مورد بحث و مناظره قرار گرفته است . در اين گفتار، ابتدا به تبيين اهميت و ضرورت اين بحث پرداخته شده و در اين راستا به ديدگاه فرق ه هاي كلامي مانند اشاعره، معتزله و اهل حديث در باب صفا ت تشبيهي اشاره شده است، سپس ضمن بيان تفصيلي ديدگاه محي الدين تفاوت آرا و نتايج « فصوص الحكم » و « فتوحات مكيه » عربي در اين زمينه و نظريات او در به دست آمده از دلايل او در اين دو كتاب مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است و در پايان اين گفتار، كه هما ن جمع ميان تشبيه و تنزيه است و اينكه بحث از تشبيه و تنزيه « شيخ اكبر » نظر نهايي در مرتبه فيض مقدس است نه مقام ذات و نه فيض اقدس، آورده شده است.

The issues of closeness and transcendence of God and their relation with the Almighty God is one of the most argumentative ones in theism so that they have marked a long record and arguments among theologians including scholastic theologians, philosophers, and mystics. This paper first examines the importance and necessity of the issue and later deals with the viewpoints of scholastic theological sects such as Asharite, Mutazilite, and traditionalists in terms of assimilated attributes. Then having explained in details the views of Muhyiddin Al- Arabi in the aforementioned and his attitudes in his books titled ʹFutuhat al- Makkiyya (Meccan Revelations) and Fusus al-Hakam (The Ringstones of Wisdom) the different views and results gained from his evidences in the above two books are discussed. In the end, the final remarks of Sheikh Akbar , that is gathering the closeness and transcendence together and that they are ranked as the holy grace not the nature or the holiest grace, is provided.
