Nature of the 2500-Year Celebrations of Monarchy In Viewpoint of Imam Khomeini

جشن‌هاي دو هزار و پانصد ساله شاهنشاهي عظيم‌ترين برنامه تبليغي و فرهنگي ـ سياسي سلطنت پهلوي بود. اين جشن‌ها كه به مثابه نمادي از فرهنگ دين‌گريزانه شاهنشاهي با رويكرد غربي تلقي مي شد، جايگاه ويژه‌اي در تاريخ مبارزات ملت و شكل‌گيري ايديولوژي سلبي انقلاب اسلامي ايران داشت. در اين مقاله، ابتدا انگيزه و اهداف شاه از برگزاري اين جشن‌ها بررسي مي‌شود و در ادامه با توجه به هزينه هاي هنگفت آنها و نقش رژيم صهيونيستي در اين مورد، به روشنگري هاي حضرت امام خميني و علل مخالفت ايشان با اين جشن‌ها بپردازد. نتايج بدست آمده از اين پژوهش حاكي از اين است كه اين جشن‌ها اگرچه تنها عامل سقوط رژيم پهلوي نبود اما زمينه‌اي براي سقوط رژيم شد كه در نهايت در بهمن 1357 اين مبارزات به رهبري امام خميني به بار نشست و كاخ روياهاي شاه و صهيونيست ها و متحدان غربي او را در هم شكست.

The 2500-Year Celebrations of Monarchy were the greatest cultural-political advertisements of the Pahalavi monarchy. These celebrations, which were a symbol of monarchical anti-religious culture with a Western approach, occupy a special place in the course of the struggles of the nation and formation of the negating ideology of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. The present paper is an attempt to discuss the Shah’s incentive and objectives for holding the said celebrations; to discuss the reasons for Imam Khomeini’s opposition to them, particularly in the light of the huge amounts of money spent for the celebrations and the role of the Zionist regime in this regard. The findings of the present research indicate that although the said celebrations were not the only reason for the collapse of the Pahlavi regime, they prepared the grounds for its downfall which finally put an end to the dreams of the Shah, the Zionists and his Western allies.
