The Relationship Between Happiness and Studentʹʹs Academic Achievement in Sistan and Baluchestan University

چكيده هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسي رابطه شادي و نشاط با موفقيت تحصيلي دانشجويان دانشگاه سيستان و بلوچستان انجام شده است. روش: اين تحقيق،از نوع همبستگي است. جامعه آماري پژوهش 250 نفر از دانشجويان دختر و پسر كارشناسي دانشكدههاي مهندسي، جغرافيا و علوم پايه دانشگاه سيستان و بلوچستان بودند كه 150 نفر از آنان بر اساس جدول مورگان و روش نمونهگيري تصادفي طبقهاي انتخاب شدند. ابزار اندازهگيري در اين تحقيق، پرسشنامه استاندارد شادكامي آكسفورد (1990) و معدل دانشجويان بود. يافته ها: دادهها با استفاده ازضريب همبستگي پيرسون، رگرسيون گام به گام و آزمون t مستقل، تحليل شدند. نتايج نشان دادكه: رابطه معناداري بين شادكامي و ميزان موفقيت تحصيلي دانشجويان دانشگاه سيستان و بلوچستان وجود دارد. بُعد كارامدي، بيشتر از ابعاد ديگر، موفقيت تحصيلي را پيشبيني كرد. همچنين، ميزان شادي در بين دانشجويان دختر و پسر برابر بود. نتيجه گيري: با افزايش شادي در بين دانشجويان ميتوان ميزان كارامدي و موفقيت تحصيلي آنها را بهبود بخشيد.

Aim: The authors of the paper declaire their purpose of study as analyzeing the role of happiness and joyfulness in academic achievement in the University of Sistan and Baluchestan. Methods: The statistical population is comprised of number of 250 male and female students in engineering, geographic and basic sciences based on Morgan table a number of 150 male and female students were selected randomly by stratified sampling method. The detailed information about respondents were collected by Standard Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (1990) and average scores of university students. The data had been analyzed by using the statistical tests such as Pearson correlation coefficient, regression and t-test. Results: The findings of the study show a significant relationship between happiness and academic achievement of students in Sistan and Baluchestan University and effective dimension predicts the academic achievement of the students better than other dimensions. The author results in an equivalent rate of happiness between male and female students at the end of the survey. Conclusions: The paper concludes that the rate of efficient and academic achievement among students will improve; as their satisfaction and happiness improves
