حلقه مشترك و پيوند آن با اصطلاحات حديثي

چكيده مدت‌هاست كه محققان غربي پديده «حلقه مشترك» در سندهاي احاديث را مي‌شناسند. آنان در مطالعات خود از اين پديده تفسيرهاي مختلفي عرضه داشته‌اند و از آن براي تاريخ‌گذاري احاديث بهره گرفته‌اند. مقاله حاضر، در صدد پاسخ به اين پرسش است كه آيا اين پديده نزد محدثان مسلمان در دوران متقدّم نيز شناخته بوده است و از ميان انبوه اصطلاحات حديثي كه محدثان در تبيين ويژگي‌هاي مختلف احاديث و راويان آنها وضع كرده‌اند، كداميك به حلقه مشترك مربوطند. با مرور آثار حديثي متقدّمان آشكار مي‌شود كه پاسخ سوال نخست مثبت است، و اصطلاحاتي چون «غريب» و «فرد» ناظر به وجوهي از همين پديده وضع شده و به‌كار رفته‌اند. همچنين نشان داده مي‌شود كه اصطلاح حديثي «مدار» را مي‌توان معادل اصطلاح غربي «حلقه مشترك» گرفت. در پايان با بررسي نحوه مواجهه محدثان متقدّم با اين پديده، روشن مي‌شود كه تفاوت فهم و تفسير محققان غربي و مسلمان از اين پديده ريشه در تفاوت رهيافت‌هاي آنان به سنجش اعتبار و نقد احاديث دارد.

The Common Link and its Relation to the Technical \ad?th Terms S. Ali Aghaei PhD Candidate, Department of Qur’?n & Had?th Sciences, Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University , Tehran, Iran The “common link” in isn?ds of traditions has been identified by Western scholars for a long time. They have interpreted that differently in their studies and used it for dating traditions. This article answers the question, whether early Muslim traditionists, were familiar with this phenomenon and also which technical \ad?th terms are coined for explaining different features of traditions and their transmitters related to common link. Review of early \ad?th works reveals that the technical terms such as “ghar?b” and “fard” are coined and used concerning some aspects of the same phenomenon. Furthermore, it identifies that “mad?r” is equivalent with the Western term “common link”. Finally, examining how early traditionists dealt with this phenomenon, this paper clarifies that the difference between Western and Muslims scholars’ understanding and interpretation of this phenomenon, is rooted in their different approaches to the validity of H?ad?th and their method in criticizing the traditions.
