هدف معماري در هنر ديني به‌ويژه در جهان‌بيني اسلام، شفاف‌سازي مرز بين ماده و ذهن، جسم و جان است. در معماري مسجد از يكسو نگاه عارفانه و شهودي هنرمند مسلمان با تاسي به مباني قرآني و مبتني بر هندسه و رياضيات و از سوي ديگر، نگاه فقهي و كلامي او آثاري ارزشمند پديد آورده است. در هنر اسلامي، سازگاري با روح اسلام يعني توحيد، شاخص‌ترين رويكرد و ويژگي بهشمار مي‌رود كه در معماري مسجد مي‌توان آن را يافت. در نظام ارتباط معنا و شكل وجه مشتركي وجود دارد كه هدف اين پژوهش قرار گرفته است؛ وجه مشتركي كه چيزي جز تشبه به اخلاق الهي نيست و بي‌كرانگي را طلب مي‌كند. اين بي‌نهايت از معرفتي حاصل مي‌شود، مبتني بر انديشه در ذات حضرت حق و انسان. درواقع مسجد مجموعه‌اي از هنرهاي گوناگون است كه فضا و مكاني قدسي براي برقراري رابطه ميان خداوند و خلق پديد ميآورد. اهداف مقاله: 1.دستيابي به وجوه مشترك در نظام ارتباط معنا و شكل در معماري مسجد 2.تطبيق معماري مسجد و فرمشناسي نماز براساس جهانبيني اسلامي سوالات مقاله: 1.ارتباط شكل و عملكرد بر مبناي جهان‌بيني مذهبي چيست؟ 2.جايگاه معرفت‌شناسي در معنا و فرم در معماري اسلامي چگونه است؟

The Proportion of Meaning and Form; the Accordance of Mosque Architecture and Prayer Abstract The purpose of architecture in religious art especially with an Islamic viewpoint is determining the line between material and mind, body and spirit. In the architecture of a mosque, focusing on spiritual and divine matters and converging on geometrical and mathematical creates a philosophical and theoretical outlook that is unique of its kind. In Islamic art, agreement with the spirit of Islam that of monotheism is the most significant decorative architectural aspect of mosque architecture. In the relation between form and meaning there are mutual understandings; this mutual agreement is nothing more than assimilating to the holy morality of God that seeks for divine perpetuity. This eternity is rooted in the essence of the philosophy of God and mankind. In other words, a mosque is place where diverse arts meet and a sacred and divine affiliation is created through the bond between God and mankind. Research aims: 1- Reaching mutual facets in the relation between meaning and form in the form of a mosque. 2- Understanding the agreement between mosque and prayer according to the Islamic viewpoint. Research questions: 1- What is relationship between form and application based on a religious point of view? 2- What is the place of epistemology in the form and meaning of Islamic architecture?
