تحليل تابش گسيل شده از آندولاتورهاي با قطبش متغير

Analysis of Radiation Emitted by Variable Polarizing Undulators

در اين تحقيق، اندولاتورهاي تخت و با قطبش متغير مورد بررسي و مقايسه قرار گرفته است. با توجه به معادلات ميدان در درون اين اندولاتورها، نيروي لورنتز و تقريب الكترون هاي نسبيتي مستقل، مسير الكترون ها در درون اندولاتورها محاسبه شد. شتاب الكترون ها محاسبه و با استفاده از نظريه تابش ذره باردار شتاب دار و معادله لينارد-ويچرت، توان ساطع شده از ليزر الكترون آزاد بررسي شد. پيچيدگي معادلات به دست آمده و مشكل تحليلي آنها باعث شد تحليل و بررسي معادلات و نتيجه هاي منتج از آنها به صورت عددي صورت گيرد. نتيجه ها به كمك منحني ها و صفحه هاي دو بعدي نمايش داده شد. مقايسه نتيجه هاي به دست آمده نشان مي دهد در ناحيه حول محور اندولاتور شدت خروجي ليزر الكترون آزاد با اندولاتور با قطبش پيچشي نسبت به تخت بيشتر است. در اندولاتورهاي با قطبش پيچشي در اختلاف فاز صفر پارامترهاي اندولاتور، شدت در مقاديري از پارامترها كه جمع توان دو آنها برابر با مقدار ثابت است، بيشترين تابش را دارد. بررسي نقش اختلاف فاز پارامترهاي اندولاتورهايي كه در حالت چرخشي عمل مي كنند نيز مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. نتيجه هاي به دست آمده نشان داد كه در اختلاف فازهاي ?/4 و ?/2 در مقاديري از پارامترهاي اندولاتور كه با هم برابر هستند، شدت تابش بيشترين مقدار را دارد. مقايسه اين دو حالت نشان مي دهد كه شدت تابش در اختلاف فاز ?/2 نسبت به ?/4 بيشتر است. هارمونيك هاي اندولاتورهاي تخت و با قطبش متغيير بررسي و مقايسه شد.

Abstract In this research, the planer and variable polarizing undulators are investigated and compared. Regarding field equations in to the undulators, independent relativistic electron approximation and Lorentzʹs force, the trajectories of electrons in undulators are calculated. Using calculated electronsʹ acceleration, theory of accelerated charged particle radiation and Lienard-Wiechert equation, the power of free electron laser are investigated. Complexity of the obtained equations and their analytical difficulty caused numerical investigation of the results. The results are represented by two and three dimensional diagrams. The comparison of output power from free electron laser with variable polarizing undulator and with planer undulator show that output power of helical undulators are more than linear undulators. For helical undulators with zero phase difference, the maximum output power is at the points where summation of square of undulator parameters is equal to a constant. The role of the phase difference in the helical undulator has been investigated. The results showed that with ?/4 and ?/2 phase differences, output power of free electron laser at equal undulator parameters are maximum. Comparison of these two state showed that output power with phase difference of ( ?)/2 is more than ?/4. The harmonics of planer and variable polarizing system are evaluated and compared.
