Toll-e-Bakian, A Befit Selection for Investigating Transitional Phase from Archaic to Late Fars Periods

تل بكيان گزينه اي مناسب براي مطالعه فاز گذار از فارس قديم به جديد چكيده: دشت هاي ميان كوهي مكان هاي بسيار مناسبي براي استقرار در مناطق كوهستاني هستند. يكي از اين دشت ها در منطقه شمال استان فارس با نام دشت بكيان واقع شده است. در اينجا تپه باستاني نسبتا بزرگي در نزديكي روستاي بكيان قرار گرفته كه با توجه به سفال هاي سطحي به نظر مي رسد كه استقرارهايي از دوره هاي فارس قديم و جديد در آن وجود داشته باشد. در اين مقاله سعي بر اين است تا ضمن معرفي سفال هاي اين محوطه، اهميت فاز عتيق فارس در منطقه شمال فارس مورد بررسي قرار گيرد

Intermountain Plaines in highlands are suitable places for pastoralist and sedentary societies. Bakian plain is one of these intermountain in southern Zagros in the Fars province. It is located in the Droodzan region and restricted by Droodzan dam from south and southeastern, Kor Mountain from north and northwest, Bakan plain from east and Mashhad-o-Bilou highlands from west. Toll-e-Bakian with over than one hectare expanse is next to the modern Bakian village in this plain. In the spring of 2006 it is surveyed within GPS project and surface potteries of this mound showed two prehistoric main phases that I tried to introduce them in this paper. Archaic period is one of the infrequent cultural phases in the northern Fars and declared in few sites. Toll-e-Bakian not only has this phase, rather shows new Fars potteries, and it is good selection for investigating transitional between archaic to late Fars periods. So, in this paper I will try to mention the importance of the Bakian intermountain plain and in continue introduce Archaic and Late Fars periods potteries of that.
