برساخت اجتماعي سرطان سينه:مطالعه موردي زنان مبتلا به سرطان سينه در شهر تبريز

Social Construction of Breast Cancer Case Study :Women with Breast Cancer in Tabriz

چكيده اين پژوهش با رويكردي جامعه‌شناختي به بيماري سرطان سينه، در ميان زنان مبتلا به اين بيماري در دو بيمارستان شهيد قاضي و امام خميني تبريز، به‌صورت كيفي و بر پايه راهبرد نظريه مبنايي با گروه نمونه 28 نفر متشكل از 24 بيمار، 2 پزشك و 2 كارشناس راديوتراپي انجام شده است.نتايج پژوهش با استفاده از مصاحبه عميق با گروه نمونه، با ارايه مقوله‌هاي 1- فهميدن بيماري و آغاز روند درمان و 2- بيمار و خلق راهكارهايي براي كنارآمدن با بيماري، تاثير گفتمان‌هاي اجتماعي و فرهنگي بر سرطان سينه و همچنين تاثير اين گفتمان‌ها بر احساس و بر نگاه زن مبتلا به اين بيماري را نشان مي‌‌دهد. اين مقاله ضمن تاكيد بر ماهيت ذهني، تفسيري، تعريفي و برساخت گرايانه مسايل اجتماعي از فرايند پزشكي شدن سرطان سينه سخن مي‌‌گويد و به اين امر اذعان دارد كه اين بيماري علاوه بر بعد پزشكي، حاوي معاني فرهنگي و اجتماعي خاصي است كه مي‌تواند براي علم جامعه‌شناسي و مفاهيم آن اساسي باشد.

Social Construction of Breast Cancer Case Study: Women with Breast Cancer in Tabriz Nematollah Fazeli Faculty Member, Allame Tabatabaei University Adeleh Feizi Graduate Student, Allame Tabatabaei University Abstract This paper conducts a qualitative research to study woman with breast cancer. The sample consists of 24 patients from two hospitals, Shahid Ghazi and Imam Khomeini, in Tabriz, Iran. Two physicians, specializing in breast cancer, and two radiotherapy technicians were also interviewed. The theoretical framework of the study is based on grounded theory. The study implements depth interview with each patient while introducing such issues as becoming aware of the disease, starting the therapy, and patientʹs strategies to cope with the disease. The results show social and cultural factors play a significant role on these issues as well as on womanʹs emotions and attitudes towards breast cancer. With emphasis on subjective, interpretive, cognitive, and constructionist nature of social problems, the paper stresses the medicalization of the breast cancer. The study mentions that breast cancer, besides medical aspects, has specific social and cultural dimensions which could be essential to sociological themes.
