بررسي رابطه بين وضعيت اجتماعي و اقتصادي دانشجويان شبانه با ادراك آنها از سرمايه گذاري در تحصيلات تكميلي

A Study of the Relationships between Students’ Socio-economic Status and Their Perception of Investment in Graduate Education

تحقيق حاضر با هدف بررسي رابطه بين وضعيت اجتماعي و اقتصادي دانشجويان شبانه با ادراك آنها از سرمايه گذاري در تحصيلات تكميلي انجام شد. در اين پژوهش از روش تحقيق توصيفي ـ پيمايشي استفاده شد. جامعه آماري شامل كليه دانشجويان تحصيلات تكميلي دوره هاي شبانه دانشگاههاي دولتي شهر تهران در سال تحصيلي90-1389 به تعداد 12045 نفر بود. نمونه آماري تحقيق شامل 379 دانشجو از دانشگاههاي صنعتي اميركبير، تربيت معلم تهران، تربيت مدرس، تهران، صنعتي شريف و علامه طباطبايي بود كه با استفاده از روش نمونه گيري تصادفي خوشه اي انتخاب شدند. به وسيله پرسشنامه اي محقق ساخت، ادراك از سرمايه گذاري در آموزش عالي و وضعيت اجتماعي و اقتصادي دانشجويان سنجش شد. يافته هاي تحقيق نشان داد كه بين وضعيت اجتماعي و اقتصادي دانشجويان شبانه و ادراك از مناسب بودن شهريه تحصيلات تكميلي و ادراك از مناسب بودن سياستهاي حمايتي رابطه معناداري وجود داشت. بين وضعيت اجتماعي و اقتصادي دانشجويان شبانه و سه متغير: 1. ادراك از درآمدهاي آتي پولي، 2. ادراك از درآمدهاي آتي غير نقدي و 3. تمايل به دريافت وام رابطه معناداري وجود نداشت. در خصوص فرضيه اصلي بين وضعيت اجتماعي و اقتصادي دانشجويان شبانه و ادراك از سرمايه گذاري آنها در تحصيلات تكميلي رابطه معناداري وجود داشت. نتايج نشان مي دهد كه محركهاي مالي و اجتماعي از عوامل پيش بيني كننده ادراك از سرمايه گذاري در تحصيلات تكميلي به شمار مي روند.

This research was conducted with purpose of studying the relationship between socio-economic status of students and their perceptions of investment in graduate education. A descriptive survey method was used for this study. Statistical population included all 12045 paying tuition graduate students at Tehran’s state universities in 2010-2011 school-year. Cluster random sampling was used to choose a sample of 379 students in Amir Kabir University, Kharazmi University, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran University, Sharif University and Allameh Tabatabaee University. A researcher made questionnaire was used to evaluate the perceptions of students in investing in higher education and their socio-economic status. Findings indicated that there were a significant relationship between socio-economic status, and appropriateness of fees and appropriateness of supportive policies perceptions. There were no significant relationships between socio-economic status of students and following three variables: 1) perception of the future cash incomes, 2) perception of the future non-monetary incomes and 3) tendency to get loans. Regarding the main hypothesis, there was a significant relationship between socio-economic status of students and their perceptions of investment in graduate education. The results of this research illustrated that financial and social incentives were predictors of students’ perceptions of investment in graduate education.
