Factors Contributing to Family Stability in View of the Quran

خانواده از نظر قرآن، نهادي است مقدس كه همگان را براي تشكيل آن فراخوانده است و براي پايداري و استحكام هرچه بيشتر آن، تدابيري انديشيده و دستورالعمل‌هايي را تبيين كرده است. در اين نوشتار، سعي بر آن است كه عوامل استحكام و پايداري خانواده مورد بحث و بررسي قرار گيرد. رعايت اصول اخلاقي و ارزش ها همانند پارسايي و دين‌داري، بهره‌مندي از فضايل اخلاقي، همتايي و تناسب و اصالت خانوادگي در انتخاب همسر، مودت و مهرورزي زن و شوهر نسبت به يكديگر، مسووليت‌پذيري اعضاي خانواده خصوصاً مواظبت و مراقبت در امور اعتقادي و اخلاقي، كنترل تمايلات جنسي وجهت‌دهي آن به نظام همسري، رعايت وظايف اخلاقي نسبت به يكديگر، رعايت حقوق در ميان اعضاي خانواده، كاهش اختلافات خانوادگي و حل عاقلانه و عادلانه اختلافات از مهم‌ترين عوامل استحكام و پايداري خانواده از منظر قرآن كريم است.

The Holy Quran regards family as a holy institution and calls all people to form one. Accordingly, it makes provisions and offers instructions on the permanence and stability of the families. This paper, therefore, is an attempt to investigate factors contributing to the stability of families. Included among the major factors contributing to this purpose, looked at from a Quranic perspective, are to observe moral principles and values such as piety and religiousness, to take on moral virtues, to be of equal position and proportion, to look for noble lineage in opting for one’s marriage partner, to show compassion and affection to one’s spouse, to assume responsibility for one’s family members specifically as regards to moral and ideological issues, to control one’s sexual tendencies and to direct them towards a system of marriage [rather than other types of sexual partnership], to maintain one’s moral obligations towards one another, to respect the rights of other family members, to reduce family conflicts and find a logical and fair method of conflict resolution.
